Between 24th and 27th of May 2010, Astana was hosting 3rd Congress of Turkic Architecture and Urbanization, which was organized in Palace of Independence in Astana, Kazakhstan by Turkish Architects and Engineers Association with coordination of TURKSOY and with support of Turkic Municipality Association together with different Eurasian organizations. This great event occurred under the auspices of Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan and Abdullah Gül President of Turkey. More than 300 topics were discussed, from transportation to migration, from economical planning to engineering, from architecture to Silk Way history.

On 29th of Mart 2010 in UNESCO Headquarters in Paris,International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) introduced Nevruz Holiday to official guests from various international organizations and diplomatic missions. About 100 participants from 8 countries-members of TURKSOY like Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tatarstan (RF), Bashkortostan (RF), Tyva (RF) and Gagauzia (Moldova) gave a colorful concert. This, mostly dancing, concert showed common traditions of Nevruz in Eurasian geography.
